ChartLogic Overview

What is ChartLogic?

The ChartLogic Medical Billing solution is built to work with clinical practices of all sizes and promises to reduce administrative costs by as much as 50%. The ChartLogic team handles the entire gamut of claims and billing, including handling patients’ phone calls. As a result, clients have seen an increase of 17% in their revenues and a 20% to 30% reduction in their accounts receivable. The ChartLogic team will also offer their ideas and solutions on improving the effectiveness of clients’ medical practices and will dedicate a team to each client, allowing the team to become familiar with client processes and offer meaningful suggestions.

Because ChartLogic devotes a team to each client practice, the entire operations of the client are handled together. As a consequence, client service is better and service teams get to know client operations intimately. The teams can therefore offer high-quality solutions on how to make client operations more efficient.

When a new client opts to use a medical billing solution, a critical part of the setup is negotiating with insurance companies and ensuring that the right credentials are shared with them. Given the large number of insurance companies and the many policies they have, negotiating with them all to settle claims can be a nightmare. ChartLogic handles all of this negotiation and credentialing on behalf of their client clinics, sparing clients this hugely complex task.

In an average practice that handles its own billing, as much as 14% of its revenue is lost through ensuring that billing processes are correct and claims and denials are handled well. ChartLogic helps clinics reduce their administrative staff needs, even as it improves their gross revenues.

The ChartLogic solution is based entirely in the Internet cloud. This simplifies and speeds up setup and allows users to connect to the solution even outside the clinic premises. Using ChartLogic has given a large number of medical practices a rapid and positive return on their investment.

  • Billing team incompetence

  • Lack of responsiveness to customer issues

Decent EHR with Room for Improvement

Our experience with this EHR software has been somewhat mixed. While it has served our needs as a healthcare provider over the years, there are areas that could use significant improvement.

  • Long-term use since 2006.
  • Poor training protocol for system changes
  • Difficulty in obtaining prompt customer service.
