Remote support solution that offers a good balance of features, price, and support

Even when connecting to devices across networks with limited bandwidth, Splashtop SOS is simple to operate and offers an outstanding performance. connection. The group assignment is built into the MSI file at download for the streamer (remote client), making it simple to include it to a provisioning package. As a result, it is simple to manage who has access to what devices at all times. Naturally, no piece of software is flawless, and Splashtop SOS is no different. It can be a little challenging to instruct support staff to switch between remote monitors, which is something I don't enjoy about it. This is a rather small problem, though, and it is something that can be resolved with sufficient practice.

Cons
  • Pre-deployment name gets stuck in the console and does not update with the machine name as deployed, and teaching support folks to switch between remote monitors.

Splashtop is a viable and effective alternative to LogMeIn.

Similar to LogMeIn in terms of remote help software, Splashtop SOS is considerably less expensive. A number of capabilities are available, including the capacity to watch and manage the screen of the other user, communicate with them, and send files. Splashtop is a simple program to install and configure, for both the user and the support specialist. The ability to print remotely is one area where it could be improved. Although it does not currently include built-in support for remote printing, third-party programs can be used to add this feature.
