What is Switchvox Cloud?

Sangoma offers one of the most popular Unified Communications platforms, available both as a cloud and an on-premise solution. Businesses can also opt in for the hybrid solution for multiple locations. All Sangoma users have complete access to the system features. Users can leverage unified communication and have access to multiple features such as click to call, presence, instant messaging and many others.

The Sangoma Mobile app grants employees access to PBX features through mobile devices. The solution is particularly useful for contact centers, as it offers call queuing, Interactive Voice Response (IVR), and other similar features. In addition, Sangoma provides an SIP trunking facility for businesses that need to connect calls using the traditional phone network. It also allows businesses to utilize third-party SIP trunks along with Sangoma. 

Solution Features

  • Calling: Sangoma offers all the basic features usually available in any modern phone solution. It also provides access to additional call features, such as call routing, auto attendant, hold, call parking, conferencing, etc.
  • Integrations: There are many applications that can be integrated with Sangoma, such as Google Maps and Salesforce, making it extensive and comprehensive. It is also possible to extend the solution and integrate with other applications through the Extend API.
  • Switchboard: The Sangoma Switchboard is a robust web-based tool aimed at improving user productivity. It offers many innovative features such as click to call, instant messaging, drag-and-drop transfer, manage presence, etc.
  • Sangoma Mobility: It is no longer necessary to be at the desk to take calls. Employees can be available from remote locations and perform their activities easily.
  • Customer Service Tools: The solution has many unique features designed to improve the customer calling experience, including call queues, call recording and IVRs.
  • Reporting: Sangoma's reporting solution provides detailed activity logs that can be viewed in different formats such as graphs, charts, etc.

The solution greatly improves productivity and is easy to use because of its intuitive GUI.

It works but needs improvements

We are using the product for our traditional phone lines as well as our Zoom communication needs."

Pros
  • One of the best aspects is that we can have phone, fax, and Zoom services all from a single provider
  • Additionally, the integration with our VoIP desk phones has been seamless.
Cons
  • The user interface for the softphone can be challenging to navigate
  • Another issue is the inconvenience of having to log into NetFortis before launching Zoom.
