Managing the construction projects can be tough. That’s why BuilTools developed a project management (PM) tool that is specifically built for the construction industry. The product is cloud based and totally integrated into the workflow of building contractors and remodeling professionals. It allows construction crews to coordinate and manage their work and helps manage subcontractors to ensure that all planned work goes ahead as planned. 

With a strong focus on the construction and remodelling business, BuildTools is centred on the large amount of communication that is necessary to coordinate working teams, equipment management, and subcontractors. The scheduler manages all projects, and any changes in schedules are communicated in real time to everyone who may be impacted. When correct information is available to everyone, work can be completed more efficiently. 

Budgeting is a major issue in construction work and BuildTools has devoted a large amount of capacity to managing budgets and costs. Users can manage their budgets online, purchase orders, and track change requests across the entire project. As change orders are approved, budgets get updated and fees, taxes, and insurance costs are automatically calculated and applied. All pending change orders and budget requests are listed out centrally where decision makers can clearly see the impact of the change before they approve it. 

The system supports managements of bids submitted by subcontractors. You can automatically notify selected contractors of the work that is required and invite bids. Reminders can be sent and subcontractors can submit bids electronically. The system keeps track of those who have downloaded documents and ensures that all bidders respond to all requirements completely, thereby saving a large amount of manual effort. 

BuildTools is completely integrated with QuickBooks so that you do not have to enter duplicate data anywhere. If you are already using QuickBooks, all project data is automatically imported. The solution has a flat per month charge depending on the model you select.
