In our comparison of Sapaad vs. Vend, Sapaad is the best option with a higher overall Wheelhouse Score. Wheelhouse Score uses a combination of feature and pricing comparison data, average user ratings, and editorial reviews to score software vendors on a scale of 1-10.
A full-service restaurant cannot yet use the Sapaad restaurant management system. The inventory program is the only saving grace, but it is at best average. The program contains a lot of bugs, like the inability to enter tips for walk-in orders, Tables couldn't be combined, Failing to design the dining room's floor plan, the kitchen is unaware of who called in the order because KDS does not publish the names of servers on tickets, there is no keycode for rapid entry or entering discounts, therefore servers must either have full access or log off and have the manager log in. Servers must log in using their email address and password.
Nothing major other than the inventory program
Unable to enter tips on walk-in orders, Unable to merge tables, Unable to make a floor layout for the dining room and KDS does not display server names on tickets.
Vend offers a lot of useful tools that help me in creating my inventory.
I am glad to have Vend in my life.
The POS system Sapaad is effective, although it has several drawbacks. The online ordering system is a useful tool, however there are certain things that could be done better, including adding more non-discountable items and expanding the available discounts. In order to gather additional information for promotions, the CRM system needs to be enhanced. Additionally, there is no training mode and insufficient date/time control in the reports. Overall, Sapaad is a fantastic alternative for restaurants, but before choosing it, establishments should be aware of its restrictions.
Third party integrations and online ordering system
No discounts, OTP isn't proper, no survey options, whatsapp sharing isn't there, footer section needs improvement and reports do not have control for data and time
Vend helped us get the business going when our budget was very limited. Setup and operation were very easy and if there were more functions we would have used those too. But we had to switch to a more expensive software reluctantly. But Vend was very helpful in most aspects of the business.
Vend is a user-friendly and great help for us in our start-up phase in our brewery. We use Vend at a retail store and taproom bar for about six months.
There is a lack of complexity though in using the software in terms of using the tabs. There is a tab/layaway function we used as a workaround but not meant for this purpose.
