While finishing / completing school assignments, Canvas is super useful.
The home page feature has a great reminder-it informs you of the upcoming, due task and after completing it, crossing the assignments off from your to do list is possible
You need to manually key in the address every time as bookmarking the sign in page is not possible
Great system, highly recommended!
The ability to create courses, adding text to HTML boxes, graphics, embedded videos, profile pages for students and teachers, pulling in activities and resources to each page, blogs and tagging for community updates and outstanding customer service.
Better if it can change the appearance like an administrator tool. Much better if it can have tabs on the main page.
I like the deadlines it gives on assignments. Email notifications about grades are excellent.
It needs a good update and should be made more user-friendly.
With our online growth, we needed an advanced hosting site. I encountered Educadium EasyCampus more than 2 years back. It has an uncomplicated interface, cooperative customer service, and refined reporting system. Though charging less than its competitors, it is not well known by many users. It stands apart from all others due to the features it offers.
Free trial for up to 25 users, astounding add-ons, reasonable price, nice customization, advanced reporting, integration with other tools like SCORM and AICC, awesome supporting team, and too many videos on how-to-do stuff.
Not easy to understand platform, too many steps to perform every task, feels like struggling to handle it. Difficult for new users. But all these cons are of minor sort and can be removed easily as their customer service and developing team, both are smart, active and considerate.
