So much capability, but there is a cost, so to speak.

It is not a small solution. It is best geared for medium to large organizations that can afford the high cost of implementing, configuring and upgrading the product on a consistent basis. Yes, it is a great solution, but it is costly. It is worth using if you can afford it.

Pros

It is user-friendly and simple enough to understand the required human involvement
This software offers you so many options and interesting yet useful features
You can do all that is needed to meet the requirements at the client/patient end
You also get all that is required for great control over the operations of your facilities, your people, your information, and management decision-support
Despite expensive maintenance contracts
I have been told that despite calling their period in version updates as "Cumulative Updates", they do not recommend applying these unless you have specific issues addressed
This would make them a hotfix rather than a cumulative update.

Cons

Client support is not the fastest
They make take forever to reply, if they do, they may be too long to fix your issues
Some of their fixes are temporary, partially because these solutions are client specific
The other fixes are of a global nature
Yet often they are not included in the standard periodic updates
If included, these could benefit the whole healthcare community
I suppose cost and benefit calculations are a part of such decisions
As it is, this solution is great in many ways, but also expensive.
