As a long-time user of Praesto AE, I think I can say that it really helped us with all of the accounting and data managing tasks we have in our mechanical engineering firm.
The program has the capability to compile all of our promotional material and job history in an easy-access database which, is super helpful because we now always remember all of our projects both past and present. Our business still uses Quickbooks for tax purposes but Praeston AE takes care of everything else. I definitely recommend this!
Do due diligence before making any choice. That said though, Buidltools were very helpful in taking me through their software and they occasionally checked in now and then. I later on knew how to contact them after deciding to purchase their product, and without any coercion.
BuildTools performs all my requirements, has a supportive customer team who are highly knowledgeable in software setup and providing invaluable hints on how I should operate my business.

I love Praesto for it has been fantastic in helping us do the big jump from excel workbooks to the program itself. We were able to continue our projects and time tracking tasks on the new platform without experiencing even the slightest hassle.
Our company deals with the construction of custom homes in NY. I was in search of a software that would do all the company's project scheduling and later budget monitoring and organizing too. After doing some research, I settled for BuildTools.
BuildTools has a very supportive customer support group, great scheduling, simple to use, and entering and approval choices. However, it doesn't integrate fully with QB for unidirectional synchronization, and some of the UI features are not intuitive, and very slow software response when using the software on my iPad.
Due to its inconveniences, I later shifted to another scheduling software that was way cheaper than BuildTools.
