Vertex has excellent customization options, however gaining the required customizations might be laborious and time-consuming. Vertex automates tax rate and rule adjustments to aid with sales tax management and returns preparation issues.

While Vertex's customer support is subpar, its automated tax calculations on invoices and sales orders are a huge advantage. Vertex also eliminates the need to spend time and effort manually updating new US tax regulations.
