Details

OmniJoin, previously known as Nefsis, is the web conferencing software from Brother. The solution supports both scheduled and ad hoc meetings. The OmniJoin web and video conferencing solution delivers good quality voice, video and secure collaboration on the public cloud or your company’s private cloud.

OmniJoin’s public cloud solution was designed to meet the stringent requirements of security-conscious businesses. The solution has military-grade end-to-end encryption, SSL3/ TLS/ HTTPA transmission security, a host authentication feature and multiple levels of password controls for web meetings. The solution is intuitive and easy to use.

Solution Features

  • Platform Support: OmniJoin can run on Windows XP or other later versions of Windows, Mac OS 10.6 or more recent versions, and iOS 6.0 and higher.
  • HD Video: Omnijoin offers a range of video quality, from low web resolution to multipoint HD1080p resolution, as required in large conference rooms.
  • Usage: OmniJoin is available in various packages to suit different needs. The basic OmniJoin plan accommodates up to 30 participants for online meetings and 12 participants for video conferences. OmniJoin Pro allows a maximum of 50 attendees for web meetings and 20 attendees for video conferences.
  • Security: whether in Omnijoin’s cloud or your own cloud, OmniJoin provides end-to-end encryption to ensure secure transmission. Moreover, all online meeting hosts are pre-authenticated. The OmniJoin software and services utilize signed code with third-party certification for all the software components that are downloaded. The OmniJoin administrative console has additional security for access and feature controls.
  • Meeting Passwords and Host Controls: Online meeting hosts can choose their conference passwords and share them with attendees. Only attendees with the right password are allowed in the conference. Conference hosts can also control all video content and personally verify each of the meeting attendees either by sight or roll call. Hosts can also expel attendees at any point during an OmniJoin session.

All these security features, teamed with excellent video and voice communications, make OmniJoin from Brother one of the chosen video conferencing solutions for companies that emphasize security.
