I prepare payroll for about 20 clients. It usually takes about 20 hours which also includes time taken for making payroll entries in the accounting software. Since I use the full-service option, payroll tax deposits and reporting are smoothly handled.

Pros

It is really amazing the way this software handles any small business payroll need
The customer support is excellent and the price is really affordable.

Cons

Patriot calls most benefits payments are 'money type.' Most money types have to be manually entered every payday for every employee
Since I prepare payroll for a few numbers of churches and have manually entered information about clergy housing allowance for every affected employee
This work is a bit tedious but Patriot assures me they're working on recurring money types which I have been hearing for three years
It's still beneficial even with this.
