The features of Media Collective are divided into nine categories: Brand, Manage, Share, Collaborate, Analyze, Access, Integrate, Secure, and Search. Each category offers powerful tools that help improve productivity and reduce data loss or confusion among a collaborative team. Through “Brand”, companies can create an engaging user experience on their websites or other platforms, as well as ensure that branded information stays consistent across the entire Internet. “Search” offers both a visual and text-based search, that includes category searches, predictive searches, suggested searches, and in-document searching. Users can even turn metadata, numeric data, asset status, file types, or dates into controlled search filters.

The “Manage” tool is where most employees will likely spend their time. Within this feature, users can upload and edit documents, drag and drop files to create even better web pages, share files, create and edit metadata fields, integrate with Dropbox, and track changes on all files. The Collaborate feature shows users an activity feed, gives notifications when triggers occur, allow for favorites and reviews, and allows teammates to approve work so the workflow never slows down. Other tools in Media Collective offer yet more features that help manage digital assets. The Integration tool allows users to work with InDesign and other popular third party software, and the API is open so you can develop your own integrations as needed.
