We spoke with CEO Gary Johnson on his plans for growing his business and why he chose Wheelhouse Enterprises to help him get there.

Wheelhouse Editor (WH): Great to talk with you today, Gary. You’re absolutely enthusiastic about the opportunities for businesses that make the switch to hosted VoIP today. Tell us more about that.

Gary Johnson (GJ): Anytime you can go in and quickly and easily help a business, of any size, to dramatically reduce their monthly recurring costs, you have a golden opportunity. WH: You’ve got the right product at the right time. How are you finding new clients today?

GJ: We do search engine marketing as well as SEO, and we get leads from Wheelhouse. That’s primarily it. We don’t do any display advertising, no print advertising, and trade publications are just too expensive. And we don’t buy any lists.

WH: What are your top three sources for generating the best quality leads?

GJ: Wheelhouse is number one. Then it’s our own site and SEO. What I like about Wheelhouse is that we can specify the types of leads we want in terms of connecting with businesses that are a perfect fit for our solutions.

WH: What made you decide to outsource lead generation to Wheelhouse?

GJ: We did some mass marketing and email at the beginning, and the few leads that generated were just – bad. We did cold calling and that’s, as you know, arduous. A friend recommended Wheelhouse to me, and from the first 100 leads we got from you guys, we closed 10 deals. My VP of sales and I share the same opinion Wheelhouse leads are the highest quality.

WH: We’re very glad to hear that! How did you determine that Wheelhouse was you best source?

GJ: We absolutely track and measure everything. That’s why we know. We do ROI analysis on every lead source. Your leads are closing within 90 days.

WH: That’s great! Anything more you’d like to share?

GJ: Wheelhouse leads are our most efficient marketing technique. The leads are from highly qualified buyers, the information is complete, and the comments from your product consultants are accurate. This really helps us to determine how we approach the prospect, so we’re always starting out on the right foot.
